I've been ordering from Amazon.ca (Canadian eh?) for a very very long time. Not Amazon.com being the U S of A... but rather, the Canadian cousin.
For my birthday, my daughter bought me Mad Men Season 3... YEHHHH!!! As we are getting ready to watch it this past weekend, we noticed Disc 2 was missing. What the heck???? This had never never happened before with box-sets previously purchased. No panic, we figured the "robotic" arm at the manufacturer malfunctioned.
Tonight (same weekend), I called Amazon.ca. It took a whole "2 minutes" to explain my problem AND to have it resolved. They are sending a brand new box set of season 3, and we are to send the old one back with a self-stamp label to their office. Now, when was the last time you got service like that???
I've been ordering from Amazon.ca for years and years. Never have I been disappointed. I normally receive my order in about 1 to 1 1/2 day. On this specific order, I'm getting it on Tuesday. Today is Sunday. Does it get any better !!!!!
To all of you... out there in the world, I strongly recommend ordering your CDs, DVDs, books, etc. from Amazon. ca. Ya gotta love this company.
OH, and best of all, when I was speaking to the customer rep., named Chris, yes, Chris, I asked if I was speaking to him out of Mississauga (which is Amazon.ca's address), he replied no, outta Washington. OK, my jaw nearly dropped. Are you getting this, I was not sent over to Pakistan or China. I was here on familiar ground. Again, does it get any better. OK, that's my "content" rant for tonight. Yes, I am one happy camper.
